This project entailed identifying the need to streamline design process, and create guidelines for the development of mobile ad executions to run on the Google Mobile Ads Network (formerly Admob). My approach included research design sources for existing recommendations, researching mobile activity, observing user behavior. I defined my audience for the Best Practices document to be designers, ad agencies and account managers working within the Google Display Ads network. Then I established a set of criteria and made clear concise recommendations for content and visual design and experience design. The document covers design, as well as strategy and is intended to be easy to scan and read quickly. Overall it has been enthusiastically received.
